M&S Packaging

When rumors started about Marks and Spencer returning to France, I felt happy and a little sad at the same time. Of course, like any french girl who loves England I was a bit excited. But I wanted to keep the unique feeling of going back to France on the Eurostar with my harms full of beautiful packaging. I was dreaming of cream tea, pickle sandwich and full English Breakfast. But Marks and Spencer is not all about the food. The reason I love it so much is because of their amazing packaging. I’ve been collecting their interesting ideas in my visual diary for years. So here’s a selection of my most recent founds.

And M&S arrived in France eventually. I decided to go, but only from time to time because I didn’t want it to become a routine. But I know that next time I’m in London, I probably won’t feel the same emotion. That’s one the problems of globalization: every city look more and more similar. After all, I think I may be able to overcome this feeling of nostalgia… Maybe with the help of Shake Shack and Ben’s Cookies .

Spring is coming

Designotebook_spring

We’ve been dreaming about it for weeks : a bright sunlight in the morning, fresh breeze, nature becoming more and more colorful… , here comes spring. A rise of temperature and it is all Paris wich wakes up – every spring I wonder where were all these Parisian hiding during winter? – This year in particular, spring seems to be savored as a sweet and long-awaited candy.

This morning, I crossed the road of this strange bird. I was fascinated by its colors and exotic appearance. This parakeet – completely out of context but apparently there are more than 1200 of them in the city – made me dream of travels for a moment. Spring’s here so let’s enjoy !
